Course Description:
It is now time to learn advanced chess and thinking and apply it to chess tournaments! We will be learning many different openings. This course will prepare all students to enter a USCF (United States Chess Federation) Tournament. I will teach them chess etiquette and rules. I also hope to strengthen overall chess knowledge and expertise for each student regardless of their current skill level. This class will focus more on deep thinking and strategy in random game positions, rather than openings and endgame checkmates like previous classes. I will also focus very heavily on tournament preparations and readiness.
