Fine Arts Chinese School 2024 Spring Registration
Madison Fine Arts Chinese School's spring semester of 2024 will begin on January 14 and end on May 12, 2024. There will be no class on March 31 for Easter break. Spring semester has 18 weeks in duration with 17 weeks of instructions. All classes are held on Sunday afternoons between 1:15 and 5:15 PM, including Chinese, Chess, Art and Chinese Calligraphy etc. for a total of 15 classes.

Additional fees:
There is $30 miscellaneous fee for each signed-up class, covering all the additional learning materials not included in the Chinese textbook packet, assignment books, flash cards, various art papers, art materials, drawing supplies, chess supplies and performance costumes etc.
The group-discounted textbook packet price for each Chinese class is $60 for the complete set of MaLiping Chinese textbook packet, $53 for K class. (Note: Only new students need to purchase Chinese textbook packet for this semester.)
Current promotions:
1. There is 5% discount for families that register for a total of 2 or more classes:
(2 classes $450x2x0.95=$855)
(3 classes $450x3x0.95=$1282.5)
(4 classes $450x4x0.95=$1710) etc.
2. The miscellaneous fee is waived if register and pay tuitions before December 22, 2023.
3. The group-discounted textbook packet price is only valid for new students who officially register and pay before January 31, 2024.
4. For returning students taking one class this semester, if they have taken leave and reported it, we will credit one missed session with a reduction of $25 toward the next semester. Returning students who have been studying continuously at our school for more than two years can have a maximum of two instances of leave credited towards a reduction of $50 for the next semester. Returning students taking two classes can avail a maximum credit of $100 in total. However, the school will not refund tuition fees due to student absences.
Registration:
1. Our school is accepting registrations from returning students starting December 12, 2023. Returning students do not need to fill out registration forms. For those paying tuition fees by check, the payment can be handed directly to the respective class teachers for forwarding to Accountant Fan or Principal Huang on the final class session on December 17. (To apply for credit, please print out the proof that you have reported the leave of absences in advance.)
2. Tuition fees can also be paid online via Zelle. Parents must specify the student's full English name(s) and class(es) in the memo of Zelle payment. (To apply for credit, please send a screenshot of the leave request to the Zelle email below and provide explanation.)

本学期各班学杂费30元(包括除中文全套教材外的各类辅助材料、练习册、学习卡片、美术用品、象棋用品和演出服装等)，及中文班需交马立平中文全套教材费团购价$60，K班$53 一套。
（注：本学期只是新生需购买中文教材）

2、老学生如在2023年12月22日前正式报名交费可免学杂费。
3、新学生如在2024年1月31日前正式报名交费，教材费为团购价。
4、老学生本学期如有请假，报一门课能有一次课时算作credit自减$25。连续在我校学习两年以上的老学生报一门课最多有两次请假可作为下学期的课时credit自减$50。报两门课的老学生最高credit共计$100。但学校不会因学生请假退学费。
报名方式：
1、我校从2023年12月12日开始接受老学生报名。老学生无需填写报名表，如用支票付学费，可以在12月17日最后一次课时直接交给各班主任老师转交范会计或黄校长。（如需申请credit 须打印请假证明）
2、Zelle网上付学费，请家长务必要注明学生的英文全名和班级。（如需申请credit 须要发送请假截图至财务邮箱并说明）
