MFACS 2023 Fall Semester Joyful Completion, Welcoming the Winter Break!

      今年的12月17日是童心艺术中文学校2023年秋季学期的最后一堂课，各中文班都举行了期末考试。在老师们设计的互动有趣的考题中，同学们在欢笑中轻松回顾了本学期所学知识，每位学生都取得了良好的成绩！这与老师们的用心教导和家长们的耐心配合是分不开的。

      December 17th was marked as the last class of the Fall Semester 2023 at Madison Fine Arts Chinese School (MFACS). Each Chinese class held its final exam, in which students reviewed the knowledge acquired this term from the interactive fun questions designed by our teachers. Every student has achieved commendable scores, thanks to the dedicated teaching and patient collaboration of our teachers and parents. 

      如何能引导孩子们爱上中文、爱上中华文化？这是我们中文学校全体老师们一直不断努力、探索追求的目标。孩子们能够学好中文并能持之以恒，老师、家长、学生、学校诸因素缺一不可，缺一便无法画成圆。希望家长们也能对孩子今天取得的成绩予以表扬，也为自己能一直坚持陪孩子学习中文点赞！

      How can we inspire our children to love Chinese language and embrace Chinese culture? This has always been the constant goal that our entire teaching team is pursuing relentlessly. For children to excel in Chinese and continuously learn it, there are four indispensable elements: teacher, parent, student, and the school. Without any one of these, the learning circle remains incomplete. We encourage all of our parents to celebrate their children's accomplishments today and commend themselves for consistently supporting their children's Chinese language journey! 

      在中文班的任课老师们带领学生进行期末总复习和期末考试的时候，童心的校董和助教们热火朝天地为孩子们充好了可爱有趣的圣诞气球，还精心包装分装好各式各样的小礼物和小奖品：圣诞铃铛、圣诞勺子、圣诞老人巧克力、新年棉花糖、精美图画本、文具套装礼盒及圣诞装饰礼品等。希望孩子们能喜欢！

      While the teachers led the students through reviews and final exams during the class time, the school board members and teaching assistants were busy preparing delightful Christmas balloons and carefully packaging various gifts and prizes for our students: including Christmas bells, Santa spoons, Santa chocolate, jumbo marshmallows, drawing books, stationery sets, and Christmas decoration gifts. We hope the children will like them! 

      美术书法班的小朋友们在今年最后的课堂上创作了多彩多样的节日主题画作《圣诞之夜》。精美有趣的版画非常应景。孩子们把自己的作品拿回家，可以直接挂在家中装饰点缀节日的气氛。国际象棋初级班和高级班组织了童心国际象棋锦标赛活动，每个孩子都赢得了奖品和圣诞礼物。老师还和学生们回顾了本学期所学到的不同主题棋局。

      In the Art and Calligraphy class, the children created vibrant and diverse holiday-themed artworks 'Christmas Night.' These exquisite canvas board paintings are perfect for a decorative touch to their homes for this holiday season. The teacher of the beginner and advanced chess classes organized the Fine Arts Chess Championship, where each child won prizes and Christmas gifts. The students also stated their favorite games and topics they've learned this semester.

      在期末考试结束后，每位学生都收到了童心中校送的节日礼物袋和小奖品。各个班级的学生们和老师们纷纷合影留念，为大家保留了珍贵的回忆，让温馨的节日氛围贯穿着每个课堂。

      After the final exams were completed, each student received a holiday gift bag as appreciation from our School. The students and teachers from each class gathered for group photos, capturing precious memories and infusing each classroom with a warm holiday atmosphere.

      感谢我们中文学校每一位认真努力用心工作的老师们，也要感谢每一位支持鼓励孩子学习中华文化的家长们，希望小朋友们都有一个充实而愉快的寒假！期待在新学期里我们能在童心艺术中文学校再相聚！
