Madison Fine Arts Chinese School 2023 Fall semester will begin on September 10 th and end on December 17th , 2023. There will be no class on November 26th for Thanksgiving break. Fall 2023 will be 15 weeks in duration with 14 weeks of instructions.
All classes are held on Sunday afternoons between 1:15 and 5:15 PM, including Chinese, Arts, Chinese Calligraphy, Music, Math, Chess, and English Reading and Writing for a total of 15 classes.

Additional fees:
There is $35 miscellaneous fee for each signed-up class, covering all the additional learning materials not included in the Chinese textbook packet, assignment books, flash cards, various drawing papers, art materials, painting supplies, chess supplies and costumes etc.
The textbook packet fee for each Chinese class is $60 ($53 for Chinese K). This is a group discounted price purchased before August 1. For inquiries on the textbook packet prices, please refer to the links below:

1. There is 5% discount for families that register for a total of 2 or more classes: (2 classes $380x2x0.95=$722) (3 classes $380x3x0.95=$1083) (4 classes $380x4x0.95=$1444) etc.
2. The miscellaneous fee is waived if register and pay tuitions before July 1st, 2023.
3. The group discounted textbook packet price is only valid for registration with paid tuition before August 1st, 2023.
4. Students who have enrolled in our school for more than one year can apply one leave of absence from last semester as $25 tuition credit toward Fall 2023 registration. Students who enrolled for one class and studied for more than two years can apply up to two leave of absences as tuition credit ($50). Students who enrolled for two classes can apply up to four leave of absences credit ($100) toward Fall 2023 registration. The school will not refund tuition due to leave of absence.

1. 2023 Fall semester registration starts from June 1 st . Current regulation requires that every registered student must submit the annual registration form (link at the end of this page) during every Fall semester. (No need to re-submit during the Spring semester for current students).
2. Online payment via. Zelle: Please send your payment screenshot together with a completed digital registration form to the Zelle email below. Please write your student’s English full name(s) and registered class(es) in the note of Zelle payment (must be in accordance with information in your registration form).

3. If register after July 1st, 2023, please contact Principle Huang by Wechat (Chinese) to check for class availability. (Miscellaneous fee of $35 is required at that time). If register and pay after August 1st, 2023, the school needs to order additional textbook packets, and the personal order price will apply. (Refer to the textbook packet fee links in Additional fees for details.)

Notes:
1. The tuition above is based on a minimum of 4 students per class. Classes with less than 4 students may be canceled or applied with higher tuition fees.
2. We offer a free trial class to new student under one of the following methods:
(1) Contact the school to attend a free trial class in previous semester, then register for next semester if satisfied with the class.
(2) If you have registered and paid the full tuition, but withdraw after attending the first class, the school will refund the entire payment minus $15 administrative fee. (Note that the textbook packet must not be opened/used during the first free trial class unless you decide to continue for the rest of the semester.)
(3) Come directly to the first class of the new semester for a trial. If decide to continue, you may register onsite and submit payment for the tuition plus $35 miscellaneous fee on the first day of class. Note that in this case you will need to purchase the textbook packet by yourself. (Refer to the textbook packet fee links in Additional fees.) If the class is fully registered, we will cancel the free-trial offer for this class.
3. After the second class started, all tuition and fees are non-refundable. Exceptions may include family relocation during the semester. Please contact the principal to discuss arrangements.

2、如在2023年7月1日之前正式报名交费可免学杂费。

4、已在我校入学超过一年的学生，本学期如有请假，报一门课能有一次课时算作credit自减$25。两年以上的老学生报一门课最多有两次请假可作为下学期的课时credit自减$50。报两门课的老学生最高credit共计$100。但学校不会因学生请假退学费。
报名方式：
1、我校从2023年6月1日开始接受学生报名。为了规范管理，以后每年的秋季学期都需要学生家长填写年度注册表（老学生在春季学期不必再注册）。
2、Zelle网上付学费，请连同电子版报名注册表发至财务邮箱。Zelle支付信息里务必要注明学生的英文全名及班级（需与报名表内信息一致）。

4、从2023年7月1日开始报名，需先跟学校负责人黄老师微信联系，以确定报名班级还有名额再按要求报名注册（此报名方式需交学杂费）。如在2023年8月1日之后报名交费，我校可能需为您单独订购中文新教材， 价格将为零售价。
注意事项：
1、以上各班收费标准为至少4名学生一个班，如果少于4个学生将增加学费或取消班级。
2、我们中校可以允许新学生免费听一次课。三种方式：
（1）提前预约在上学期试听一次课，满意再报名下个学期的课程。
（2）本期按学校规定报名交费后，如果上了第一堂课觉得不合适，学校只扣除$15手续费外退全部学费教材费(但第一堂课时不可以用新教材，愿意继续学习才可以使用教材)。
（3）开学第一天直接来试上一堂课，觉得合适再正式报名交费。但需要多交$35的学杂费，及自行购买中文教材。而且如果所报班级在开学前名额已满，试课会取消。
3、如果学生已开始上第二次课程，之后因各种情况要在中途退学，已交的学费不会退还。除非是因为举家搬迁的原因，可与校董会协商处理。
