President's Volunteer Service Award

童心艺术中文学校已被正式授权为可以为志愿者验证义工服务时间并颁发美国“总统义工奖” 的认证机构。有关该奖详细信息请登陆其官方网站 (Presidential Service)。该奖项致力于鼓励人们，特别是年轻一代踊跃为社区义务服务，共同创造美好的学习、工作和生活环境。

Madison Fine Arts Chinese School (MFACS) is honored to be officially authorized as a certifying organization that can verify volunteer service hours and award the U.S. "President's Volunteer Service Award" to volunteers. The award aims to encourage people, especially the younger generation, to actively participate in community service and work together to create a better learning, working, and living environment.

本活动在黄萍校长和学校董事会的领导和监管下，由杨诺一校务长兼助教义工总监负责验证及申请工作。学校将以公平、公开、公正的原则，保障该项评审活动健康而有序地进行。

Under the guidance and supervision of Principal Ping Huang, the school’s Administrator and Volunteer Director, Nuoyi Yang, is responsible for verifying volunteer service hours and submitting applications. The school board ensures that all applications are evaluated in a fair, open, and just manner.



童心艺术中文学校的总统义工奖年度从每年5月起至次年5月止。报名的志愿者应在“总统义工奖”的官方网站注册其个人账户，并通过报名时学校提供的ROSKEY与学校账户相连接。学校为每个报名的志愿者建立档案并跟踪及审核该志愿者在一年内的服务。

The President's Volunteer Service Award at MFACS runs annually from May to May of the following year. Volunteers applying for the award should register a personal account on the official website of the “President's Volunteer Service Award" and link it to the school's account using the ROSKEY provided by the school during the application. We will establish a record for each registered applicant and track and review his/her volunteer service at MFACS within a year.

当报名的志愿者在12个月内达到以上要求的服务时间且工作认真，童心艺术中文学校将应本人要求，为该志愿者申请相应的总统义工奖。

When a registered volunteer meets the service hour requirements and performs their duties diligently within 12 months, MFACS will apply for the corresponding President's Volunteer Service Award for the applicant upon request.





童心艺术中文学校社区义务服务活动包括:
1. 所有不拿薪水的教学，其工作时间都可记入学校社区义务服务活动时间。
2. 所有不拿薪水的助教，其助课时间都可记入学校社区义务服务活动时间。
3. 凡参加学校春节联欢，毕业典礼，才艺表演和社区活动等服务，其时间都可记入社区义务服务活动时间。
4. 凡参加中文学校支教或相关活动，如募捐，义卖，其时间可记入社区义务服务活动时间。
5. 凡参加中文学校的教师会议和学校员工会议等活动，其时间可记入社区义务服务活动时间。

The eligible community volunteer service activities at the Madison Fine Arts Chinese School include:
1. All unpaid classroom teaching activities can count towards our eligible volunteer service hours.
2. All unpaid classroom assistant activities can count towards our eligible volunteer service hours.
3. Participation in our school events, such as the Chinese New Year celebration, graduation ceremony, talent show, and other community activities can count towards eligible volunteer service hours.
4. Participation in our school supporting events or related activities, such as fundraising and charity sales, can count towards eligible volunteer service hours.
5. Participation in our schoolteacher meetings and staff meetings can count towards eligible volunteer service hours.

童心艺术中文学校将在年度大会上对获奖者进行表彰，并授予美利坚合众国总统签署的信、个性化荣誉证书和成就奖章（金牌、银牌或铜牌）。本章程经校董事会全体成员审议通过。 在本章程实施的过程中，董事会成员有权就章程修改提出意见，董事会应及时召开全体会议讨论修改意见。

Madison Fine Arts Chinese School will recognize awardees at the end-of-school-year meeting and award them with a personalized certificate of honor signed by the President of the United States, as well as an achievement medal (gold, silver, or bronze) when available. This memorandum has been reviewed and approved by all members of the MFACS school board. During the implementation of this memorandum, board members have the right to propose amendments, and the board should convene a meeting to discuss proposed changes in a timely manner.
