The Fine Arts Chinese School's spring semester of 2023 will begin on January 15th and end on May 21st. There will be a two-week spring break on April 2nd and April 9th. This semester has a total of 19 weeks in which 17 weeks we have classes. All classes will be held on Sundays from 1:15 to 5:15 pm. The spring semester of 2023 will offer 12 courses in Chinese, Art, Chess, and English Reading and Writing. The full course schedule is as follows:

Other fees:
The class miscellaneous fee for this semester is $30 (including all the additional learning materials not included in the Chinese textbook packet, assignment books, flash cards, various art papers, art materials, drawing supplies, chess supplies and performance costumes etc.)
And the Chinese classes need to pay a group purchase price of $60 for the complete set of MaLiping Chinese textbook packet, $53 for K class. (Note: Only new students need to purchase Chinese textbook packet for this semester.)
Current offers:
1. Families who enroll in 2 or more courses will receive a 5% discount:
(2 courses $450x2x0.95=$855)
(3 courses $450x3x0.95=$1282.5)
(4 courses $450x4x0.95=$1710), and so on.
2. Old students who officially register and pay before December 20th, 2022 can be waived the miscellaneous fees.
3. New students who officially register and pay before January 5th, 2023 will receive the group purchase price for the textbook packet.
4. Old students who have been enrolled in our school for more than one year and have taken leave in the current semester will be able to count one leave of absence as a $25 credit to self-deduct from tuition fee when signing up one course for Spring 2023. Students who have been enrolled for more than two years can have up to two leave of absences as a $50 credit to deduct from tuition fee when signing up one course. Old students who will sign up two courses can have a maximum credit of $100. However, the school will not refund tuition fees due to student absence.
Registration:
1. Our school will accept current students’ registration from December 10th, 2022. Current students do not need to fill out the registration form. If paying by check, you can directly give it to the class teacher on the last two classes on December 11th or December 18th to be transferred to the accountant (Xie) or Principal Huang. (If you need to apply for credit, you must submit a written letter explaining the leave of absences and credits.)
2. Zelle online payment of tuition fees is only acceptable for old students who have already submitted the registration form. Please make sure to indicate the student's full English name(s) and class(es). (If you need to apply for credit, you need to send a screenshot of the absence to the financial email and explain it.)

Special reminder for this semester:
After discussion by the school board, all teachers, students, and parents entering Fine Arts Chinese School during the spring semester of 2023 will still need to wear masks as required. When masks are no longer required, the school will make announcement in the WeChat group of each class.
