教师介绍   Teacher's Bio

 

杨诺一老师是UW麦迪逊大学教育学院的博士生候选人。她的专业是课程与教学设计，研究课题是美国中文学校及中文教师的发展方向。杨老师曾在中国大连外国语学院学习对外汉语专业，并取得了威斯康辛大学的应用英语语言学和汉语语言学专业双硕士。

 

Nuoyi Yang is a PhD candidate in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Wisconsin - Madison School of Education. Her research topic is the development of Chinese language schools and Chinese language teachers in the United States. Nuoyi received her bachelor’s degree in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Dalian University Foreign Language Department, and her master’s degrees in Applied English Linguistics and Chinese Linguistics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. 

 

杨老师不但有扎实的语言学基础，也有丰富的教学经验。在科研之余，她也在不同的汉语机构实习，接触过各类学生：在Bright Child Learning Center, 杨老师自编教材，负责三岁儿童的汉语启蒙；在Van Hise 小学及麦迪逊地区的其他小学，她教授汉语兴趣班和英语创新写作；在Verona国际学校的中学部，她是青少年汉语教学的主讲教师；在麦迪逊社区大学（MATC），她常年教授成人汉语。从咿呀学语的美国儿童到课外的华裔学生，从沉浸式的少年双语教室到正式的成人二外课堂，杨老师都游刃有余。

 

Nuoyi not only has a solid foundation in linguistic, but also extensive teaching experience. At Bright Child Learning Center, she designed and developed beginning Chinese language curriculum for young learners and implemented it for the 3-year olds. At Van Hise Elementary and Emerson Elementary, she taught an after-school Chinese and an English creative writing programs. At Verona Area International (Charter) School, she is one of the Chinese language teachers at the middle school level. Nuoyi also teaches Chinese at Madison Area Technical College. From Americans to Chinese heritage, from K12 dual-language immersion program to adult language program, Nuoyi has a wealth of experience in handling various teaching contexts.    

 

杨诺一老师于2015年秋天开始在童心艺术中文学校任教，并于2018年年底成为我们中校校董和校长助理。她将自己的经验、理论和热情都带到了童心的课堂上。童心中校既是杨老师在教育工作上的起点，也是她的教育工作基地。在我们中文学校，杨老师不仅是一线教师，更是致力于连接华裔和中美教育的工作者。

 

Nuoyi has been teaching at Madison Fine Arts Chinese School since 2015 and became a member of the school board and assistant principal since 2018. Nuoyi brought her academic research and background along with  practical teaching experiences to the school. Madison Fine Arts Chinese School is not only a teaching facility for Nuoyi, but also a practicum as an educator who connects Chinese heritage learners and the education system in the U.S.
