Exciting News! Madison Fine Arts Chinese School (MFACS) will host its 2026 Fall Opening Ceremony and Awards Presentation on Sunday, September 6, 2026, from 3:00–5:00 PM. Join us as we welcome the new school year and recognize students and teachers for their outstanding achievements during the previous academic year. Madison Fine Arts Chinese School 2026 Fall semester will begin on September 13 and end on December 13, 2026. This semester consists of a total of 14 weeks, with Thanksgiving break scheduled for November 29. All classes are held on Sunday afternoons between 1:15 and 5:15 PM. The fall semester of 2026 will offer a total of 16 classes including Chinese, Fine Arts, Math Olympiad, Chess, and English Reading & Writing. The complete course schedule is as follows:

 

 

 

Current fees:

 

1. Tuition for all classes is $410 for the Fall semester, which includes 26 class hours.

 

2. There is $30 miscellaneous fee for each signed-up class, covering all the additional learning materials not included in the Chinese textbook packet, assignment books, flash cards, various art papers, art materials, drawing supplies, chess supplies and performance costumes etc.

 

3. There is a one-time registration fee of $25 upon initial enrollment for new student. This fee covers a MFACS-dedicated school backpack.

 

4. All Chinese classes in the Fall semester are required to purchase the complete Ma Liping Chinese textbook set. The group-discounted price is $60 per set, $53 per set for Kindergarten (K) classes, and $90 per set for AP Chinese classes. Current promotions:

 

1. There is 5% discount for families that register for a total of 2 or more classes: 

($410×2×0.95=$779)

($410×3×0.95=$1,168.5)

($410×4×0.95=$1,558) etc. 

 

2. The miscellaneous fee is waived if register and pay tuition before August 1st, 2026.

 

3. The group-discounted textbook packet price is only valid for registration with paid tuition before August 15, 2026.

 

4. Students who have enrolled in our school for more than one year can apply one leave of absence from last semester as $25 tuition credit toward Fall 2026 registration. Students who enrolled for one class and studied for more than two years can apply up to two leave of absences as tuition credit ($50). Students who enrolled for two classes can apply up to four leave of absences credit ($100) toward Fall 2026 registration. The school will not refund tuition due to leave of absence.

 

 

Registration:

 

1. Our school is accepting registrations starting from June 28, 2026. Current regulations require that every registered student must submit the annual registration form (link below) during every Fall semester. (No need to re-submit during the Spring semester for current students).

 

2. Online payment via. Zelle: Please send completed registration form to the Zelle email below. Please write your student’s English full name(s) and registered class(es) in the note of Zelle payment (must be in accordance with information in your registration form). To apply for credit, please send screenshot(s) of your leave request(s) to the Zelle email below and notify our finance officer, Ms. Yang Fan, for review and approval.

Notes:

 

1. The tuition above is based on a minimum of 4 students per class. Classes with less than 4 students may be canceled or applied with higher tuition fees. 

 

2. We offer a free trial class to new student under one of the following methods:

(1) Contact the school to attend a free trial class in previous semester, then register for next semester if satisfied with the class.

(2) If you have registered and paid the full tuition, but withdraw after attending the first class, the school will refund the entire payment minus $25 administrative fee. (Note that the textbook packet must not be opened/used during the first free trial class unless you decide to continue for the rest of the semester.)

(3) Come directly to the first class of the new semester for a trial. If decide to continue, you may register onsite and submit payment for the tuition plus $30 miscellaneous fee on the first day of class. Note that in this case you will need to purchase the textbook packet yourself. If the class is fully registered, we will cancel the free-trial offer for this class.

3. After the second class started, all tuition and fees are non-refundable. Exceptions may include family relocation during the semester. Please contact the principal to discuss arrangements.

童心中校2026年秋季学期开学典礼暨招生通知

1、我校从2026年6月28日开始接受2026年秋季学期报名。为了规范管理，每年的秋季学期都需要学生家长填写年度报名表（老学生在春季学期不必再填表登记）。

 

2、Zelle网上付学费，请连同电子版年度报名表发至财务邮箱。请家长务必在Zelle支付信息里注明学生的英文全名及班级（需与报名表内信息一致）。如需申请credit 须提交请假截图至财务邮箱，并向财务老师杨帆会计师说明以便审核。

注意事项：

 

1、以上各班收费标准为至少4名学生一个班，如果少于4个学生将增加学费或取消班级。

 

2、我们中校可以允许新学生免费听一次课。三种方式：

（1）提前预约在上学期试听一次课，满意再报名下个学期的课程。

（2）本期按学校规定报名交费后，如果上了第一堂课觉得不合适，学校只扣除$25注册费，将退还全部学费教材费（备注：试听学生第一堂课时不可以用新教材，愿意继续报名学习才可以使用教材）。

（3）开学第一天直接来试上一堂课，觉得合适再正式报名交费。但需多交$30的学杂费，以及需要自行另外购买中文教材。如果所报班级在开学前名额已满，将不予试课。

 

3、如果学生已开始上第二次课程，之后因各种情况要在中途退学，学费不予退还。但因举家搬迁的原因，可与校董会协商处理。
