麦城童心艺术中文学校开设的国际象棋班已有二十年历史，是麦迪逊地区历史最悠久、教学最稳定的象棋课程之一，深受家长与学生的广泛认可。课程以专业的师资队伍、科学的教学体系、小班化教学和高度个性化的指导为核心，强调因材施教、助力学生稳步提升棋艺，增强思维能力和自信心。

The Madison Fine Arts Chinese School (MFACS) Chess Class has proudly served the Madison community for over 20 years, making it one of the most established and reliable youth chess programs in the region. Our Chess Class is widely recognized and trusted by parents and students alike. With a focus on experienced instructors, a structured curriculum, small class sizes, and highly personalized coaching, our program emphasizes individualized instruction that helps students steadily improve their chess skills while developing critical thinking and confidence.

 

童心象棋班鼓励学以致用，每年都积极组队参加各类地区性象棋比赛。我们的小棋手们成果喜人，稳步攀升。在最近半年的三场主要赛事中，童心象棋队表现优异，获得了诸多个人排名奖和团体第一第二的好成绩：

At MFACS, we believe in applying what we learn. Each year, our students actively participate in local chess tournaments and continue to achieve remarkable results. In the past six months alone, the MFACS Chess Team has earned several top individual and team honors in major scholastic competitions:

 

2024-12-15：Madison Country Day School Chess Championship（K-12级）—— 团体第2名 (K-12 2nd Place Team)

2025-02-01：Shorewood Hills Chummy Chess Championship（K-12级）—— 团体第2名 (K-12 2nd Place Team)

2025-03-15：Madison East Scholastic Championship（K-12级）—— 团体第1名 (K-12 1st Place Team)

 

此外，在2025年3月22日举行的全州最大的学棋赛事 ——WI State Scholastic Chess Championship中，童心派出八位学员参赛，其中四人分获多个组别的前2至前8名，展现了良好的心理素质和扎实的基本功，令人欣喜！

At Wisconsin’s largest scholastic tournament—WI State Scholastic Chess Championship held on March 22, 2025 — eight MFACS students competed with strong performances. Four of them placed in the Top 2 to Top 8 across multiple divisions, demonstrating solid fundamentals and admirable composure under pressure.

 

班主任 (Chess Class Director)：Yuanhua Wei

童心中校校董之一，专责象棋班管理，拥有多年青少年国际象棋教育与专业细致的赛事组织经验。他注重课堂氛围与学员情感支持，深受家长与学生们的信赖。魏老师同时也是国际象棋PGN工具Notamate.com 的开发者，该平台已成为美国最受欢迎的象棋工具之一，正迅速推广至全球，为国际象棋爱好者提供强大支持。

Board member of MFACS and program lead for the chess class, Mr. Wei brings years of experience in youth chess education and tournament organization. Known for creating a supportive classroom environment, he is trusted by both parents and students. Mr. Wei is also the developer of Notamate.com, one of the most popular PGN chess tools in the U.S., now expanding globally.

 

特邀导师 (Master Coach)：Alex Betaneli

国际棋联大师（FIDE Master）和美国国象大师（National Master），Wisconsin Chess Academy 的联合创始人及负责人之一。Alex不仅棋艺卓越，且执教经验丰富，教学方法系统。他长期致力于为不同层次的学生制定个性化训练计划，引导孩子们在严谨中找到乐趣，在竞争中获得成长。

FIDE Master and U.S. National Master, Alex is co-founder of the Wisconsin Chess Academy. With deep expertise and a structured teaching style, he creates personalized training plans for students of all levels — helping them find joy in discipline and growth through competition.

 

优秀教练 (Associate Coach)：Neo Wei

麦城青少年国际象棋冠军，Middleton High School 象棋队最强主力，多年来荣获各种象棋大赛冠军，比赛经验丰富。作为从童心象棋班成长起来的“学员变教练”的优秀典范，Neo以亲切的教学风格、实用的战术技巧传授和充满鼓励式互动，在课堂上赢得孩子们的信任和喜爱，也树立了良好的榜样。

A local youth chess champion and leading member of the Middleton High School chess team, Neo is a standout example of a student-turned-coach from our own Chess Class. Known for his friendly and encouraging teaching style, Neo combines practical tactics with hands-on mentoring that resonates with younger players.

 

特别顾问 (Strategic Advisor)：Tony Tu

童心国际象棋班的创始成员之一，曾任我校象棋班主教练，拥有多年丰富的国际象棋教学经验，为国际象棋课程体系的构建与早期发展做出了重要贡献。虽然现不常驻麦迪逊，Tony老师仍持续为教学与课程设计提供深度支持，是童心国际象棋团队长期发展中的重要战略顾问。

A founding member of the MFACS Chess Class and former head coach, Tony played a key role in building the curriculum in the early years. Although no longer based in Madison, he remains actively involved as a strategic advisor, offering valuable input to support the long-term growth of our program.

 

金牌助教 (Assistant Coaches)：Drake Jiang & Aethon Smith

从童心象棋班成长起来的金牌少年棋手，长期活跃于各类比赛并获得优秀成绩。现担任助教协助课堂教学与陪练。他们与学生年龄接近，亲和力强，用自身经历激励低年级学生，为我们的象棋课堂注入积极与活力。

Both Drake and Aethon are rising chess talents and long-time students of the MFACS Chess Class. Now serving as teaching assistants, they help run classes and serve as sparring partners. Their relatable presence and personal chess journeys inspire younger students, bringing energy and motivation into the classroom.
