Madison Fine Arts Chinese School 2021 Fall semester will be in-person. 2021 Fall semester will begin on September 12^th, 2021 and end on December 19^th, 2021. There will be no class on November 28^th for Thanksgiving. Fall 2021 will be 15 weeks in duration with 14 weeks of instructions.  

        All classes are held on Sunday afternoons between 1:15 and 5:15, including Chinese, Arts, Chess, and English Reading and Writing.

Attention:

1、LCEC will be cleaned and disinfected prior to school start. All students, teachers, and parents must wear masks. Visitors are not allowed in the building.

2、Madison Fine Arts Chinese School 2021 Fall semester is currently planned to be in person. The school will continue to closely monitor the situation with the pandemic. If and when necessary for the safety our students, teachers, and staff, the school may decide to continue the semester as virtual learning for all teachers and students with prior notification. 

 

Additional fees:

1、The textbook fee for Chinese class is $50, $43 for Chinese K, and $10 for Chinese AP class. This is a group purchase price. Textbook for Chinese class includes assignment books, flash cards, and online access for homework.

2、There is a $25 miscellaneous fee for each class, which includes additional learning materials not included in the textbook packet.

 

Discounts:

1、There is a 5% discount for families that register for a total of 2 classes ($350 x 2 x 0.95 = $665), 8% discount for families that register for a total of 3 classes ($350 x 3 x 0.92 = $966), and 10% discount for families that register for a total of 4 classes ($350 x 4 x 0.90 = $1260).

2、The top five students who won the competition at the end of the last semester will be given tuition discounts in accordance with the school's relevant notices. Please make a note on the check.

3、The $25 miscellaneous fee will be waived for all registrations including payments, that are mailed before August 20^th, 2021. (Note: textbook fee for new students cannot be waived, unless purchased separately by the students).

Once confirmed, parents may bring the student(s) on the first day of class, September 12^th, 2021 and submit the registration form including tuition and miscellaneous fee at that time.  

 

Notes:

1、The tuition above is based on a minimum of 4 students per class. Classes with less than 4 students may be canceled or have higher tuition fees. Classes with more than 10 students will have a teaching assistant in addition to the main teacher. Classes with more than 14 students will be split into 2 classes.

 

2、The miscellaneous fee of $25 is required if registering after August 20^th, 2021. Additionally, if the school has to order additional textbooks, the textbook fee for Chinese classes is $65 ($55 for Chinese K, $15 for Chinese AP).

4、After the second week of the semester, all tuition and fees including textbooks are non-refundable. Exceptions may include notification to and acknowledgment by the school prior to the start of the semester, or family relocation during the semester. Please contact the principal to discuss detailed arrangements.

 

5、Returning students do not need to complete a new registration form. Please submit payment and note the name of the students and class on the check or Zelle. New students must complete a registration form.
