Madison Fine Arts Chinese School Spring 2020 semester will begin on January 12^th, 2020 and end on May 10^th, 2020. There will be no class on March 29^th and April 5^th for Middleton and Madison School Spring Break respectively. Spring 2020 will be 18 weeks in duration with 16 weeks of instructions. Note that there are 3 additional weeks compared to the Fall 2019 semester.

All classes are held on Sunday afternoons between 1:15 and 5:15.

The following is the schedule for all the classes offered in Spring 2020:

Additional fees:

1.There is a $25 miscellaneous fee for each class, which includes additional learning materials such as exercise books, flash cards, art materials and others.

2. The textbook fee for Chinese classes is $50, $43 for Chinese K (only new students need to submit textbook fee).

Discounts:

1. There is a 5% discount for families who register for a total of 2 classes ($340 x 2 x 0.95 = $646) and 10% discount for families who register for a total of 3 classes ($340 x 3 x 0.90 = $918).

2. The $25 miscellaneous fee will be waived for all registrations and payments that are received before December 20^th, 2019. (Note: textbook fee for new students cannot be waived).

Registration:

1.Registration for Spring Semester 2020 begins on December 1^st, 2019. Returning students may register and submit fee payments to Ms. Fan at school during school week, or mail the fee payment to the address below. New students will need to complete and submit a registration form (link below).

Once confirmed, parents may bring the student(s) on the first day of class, January 12^th, 2020 and submit the registration form including tuition and miscellaneous fee at that time.  

Notes:

1. The tuition above is based on a minimum of 4 students per class. Classes with less than 4 students may be canceled or have increased tuition fees.

2. A miscellaneous fee of $25 is required if registering after December 20^th, 2019. Additionally, if the school has to order the textbooks separately, the textbook fee for Chinese classes is $65 ($55 for Chinese K).

3. Interested students may attend the first class for free under the following conditions:

    a. Students may call the school to make an appointment to sit in a class. If interested, the student can register for the next semester.

    b. If the student has registered and paid and decides to withdraw after attending the first class, a full refund will be issued minus $10 administration fee. Note that used textbook cannot be returned. The student should only use the textbook on the first day of class if planning to continue.

    c.  Students may attend the first week of class in the beginning of the semester. If deciding to continue, the student may submit registration form and fee – including tuition and $25 miscellaneous fee – plus textbook fees for Chinese classes.

4. Starting from the second week of the semester, all tuition and fees are non-refundable. Exceptions may include notification to and acknowledgment by the principal prior to the start of the semester, or family relocation during the semester. Please contact the principal to discuss detailed arrangements.

5. Returning students do not need to complete a new registration form. Please submit payment and note the name of the students and class on the check. New students must complete a registration form.
